Happy Birthday to my Honey!

Lou is 28 years old today. If you ask him though, "it's just another day...." ha! I love teasing him because he's so much youger than I am. Today is also his father's birthday. What a gift for a father eh?
This morning they left at 5:30am to take two babies up to Presque Isle for workouts. Both horses did fabulously. I'm really excited about the one that has been exclusively my mount. He is unstarted but has been riddled with one injury after another. Nothing big, just things that caused setback after setback. Hopefully now we are finally at the point where we can look for a race for him. The other baby has had 3 starts....winning 2 of them and placing 2nd for his very first start. I'm hoping both horses turn out to be something special. We've had a lot of cheap horses in the past....don't get me wrong they've done really well for their caliber....but it's nice to finally have some higher dollar horses in the barn.

In other news Sealy and I are prepping for a hunter pace this monday and a Mini Trial on June 7th. Doing a little jumping and trying to hack arond the farm a little. This hunter pace should give me a good idea about how she'll act on the 7th.
