Ack! Finally!!!

So It has been a while since my last post. Not that I haven't been trying to post. For some reason I couldn't log in. Nothing changed, it just wouldn't allow me in! How frustrating! Then today the computer gods said, "okay, you can play...." and now I'm here! Phew! I hope that doens't happen again!

Let's see, where to start?

How about Hannah? She's growing like a little weed. She loves to stand up while you hold her hands. She blows rasberries and makes many word like sounds. I could have sworn the other day she yelled "Hey!" She's finally enjoying her paternal grandparents. For quite a while she'd tolerate them for about 5 minutes. Now she's smiling at them and gives "Gammy" kisses. She still gets upset if someone aside from Mommy holds her for too long. She's decided that kisses on her tummy are the funniests things. Sometimes she cracks up at the oddest things too which in turn gets any adults within earshot cracking up as well.

Racing has been good. We've had several wins lately. Feels pretty good to win with a horse that I exercise. I've taken on a 2 year old with a big attitude. We shall see how things go with him. He's super cute and fancy but soooo stubborn!!! If he doens't want to do something he plants his feet. So you give him a good kick and he rears. So....out with the whip....and he bucks. For the love....!! It's a work in prgress. I have no idea how he's ever going to actually race because his favorite gear is backwards. We'll see!
Sealy is still on hiatus. Blake is still in training in VA. Hopefully he will be marketed soon. My bankroll is thinning a little too quickly. I never imagines I'd be paying $150 for four steel shoes. Why is everything so expensive in VA? Anyway, once sweetie Blake is sold Sealy gets to go down there for bootcamp. I figure if I don't have the time to ride her right now I'll have someone more qualified do it for me. Then I won't lose any time with her.
Jazz is doing well too. She's starting to show her age though (10 years). She has a hitch in her get'along. I'm trying out some homeopathic pills for inflammation and pain. Pretty sure it's a stifle issue in the hind left leg. The antianflammatory drug I bought form my vet made her sick. So far she's been on the first drug for a little over a week and I see no improvement. I was hoping it would work for her but I guess you have to really beleive in that stuff to see results. :)
I guess that's it for now. We are racing tonight and tomorrow night. I'm crossing my fingers for wins both nights. Maybe then I won't have such a grumpy husband!
